Prophetic Word + Action = Abundance

Recently I gave time-specific prophetic words to a friend. When that date came and went, they came to me and mentioned that the word hadn't happened yet. I went into prayer and asked the Lord what was holding this prophetic word back from happening. Through prayer He immediately gave us steps to take. After accomplishing each step, the Prophetic Word came to pass and not only was it complete, it was abundantly more than my friend could have imagined.

My thoughts on this are that we have to do our part when Prophetic Words are spoken. We don't need to MAKE the prophetic word happen but we need to check in with God and ask if there are any ACTIONS that we need to take. Many times people think that they just need to sit back and wait on the word to come to pass. I don't feel this is true. God wants a relationship and when we wait for him to bring everything to us it's one sided.

Steps for Prophetic Words: 1) When the word is spoken by someone else, go to God and ask him if it's truth. If it is, write it down where you will see it regularly and declare it out loud. Our words are living and we need to speak them into the atmosphere. 2) Check in with God on occasion. Ask if there are any steps you need to take in regards to this specific prophetic word. 3) Praise God for what is to come.

God can do anything through those that hear his voice and obey with action. It's a fun journey and you never know what he has coming next. Enjoy!
